Avon Transportation is a small family-owned limousine and town car service currently serving the Farmington Valley, Hartford/West Hartford area. We started our business 6 years ago after working in the taxi and limousine industry in New York and Connecticut for over 15 years. We have met more demand and success than anticipated, and our business has almost doubled every year since we started and...we are still growing!
We have formed beneficial partnerships with many hotels in the Farmington Valley and continue to serve local private schools and residents as well. We have developed a reputation for reliability and professionalism as well as the family style friendly demeanor of a small business. Our drivers are professional and courteous and we do DMV and background checks to ensure a safe and trustful trip.
We try to keep our prices competitive with Lift and Uber while remaining safe, reliable and professional.
Our corporate policies have evolved over the past few years, into a few simple rules:
First, we keep things simple. We do not load on extra costs for everything from fuel surcharges to tolls.
We do not charge for cancellations (we understand that things change) We only charge by the hour for two things: limousine time and wait time.
Second, Trips with all cars are made on a reservation only basis, but, last minute trips can usually be accommodated.
And third, we always accommodate pets, babies and the elderly.
As our reputation has grown, we have gone from partnering from a few hotels to eight and we are serving more and more residents and business travelers and corporate customers.
Additionally, as our company is partly female owned, we have developed a relationship with many female business travelers who look for a safe and reliable ride.
